The Common Roots WhatsApp is where updates, events, and conversations actually move.
A sustainable space
Independent spaces working with climate practice, community, food, building, or travel. The team reads it and writes back if there is a way to connect.
Online
A stay is not open.
You can still come and work, or learn with your hands.
What it is
A commune. A learning space. A movement.
Common Ground brings people, places and practices together around one question: how can we live in a way that works better for people and the earth? It is not only a property. Building, growing, making and learning sit in the same circle.
How it works
Creation over consumption.
There is no single perfect model. We try small things, notice what happens, and share what someone else can use. Observe. Explore. Experiment. Evolve. Modern tools where they help. Knowledge already held in a place, where it already works.
